The 2010 vintage quality is widely regarded as spectacular and legendary for Bordeaux. A cold winter delayed growth, a wet June and a very dry and hot summer in Medoc gave the grapes a better preserved acidity and higher fruit concentration. Wines from the Pauillac appellation is often dominated with the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety, which makes this wine a fun experience to drink because it is dominated by Merlot (60%).

The wine has aromas of dominant blueberries which is expected from a merlot dominated wine, earthy from the wet June and damp conditions, tobacco, anise, raspberries and strawberries from the high concentration, light chocolate and vanilla from oak ageing.

The wine tasted of dominant blueberries, red fruits, vanilla, tobacco, forest floor and chocolate.

The wine showcased a trait from the 2010 vintage in regards to the better perceived acidity giving the wine an immense freshness complimented by a polished tannic structure. Long finish.
