This wine has a ruby red color with a garnet rim.

Very fruity for a 2012 on the nose with lots of black berries and currants. Typical cool Saint-Estephe notes follows up with pencil shavings and eucalyptus. The palate shows beautiful ripe fruit with blackberry and black currants, cassis and black plum. Some sweet black cherry. Some spices with pepper and licorice, eucalyptus and pencil shavings. Tobacco, leather and oak. Fresh acidity, ripe tannins and good concentration. Nice balance and long finish.
